In the actual production at an asphalt mixing plant, the mixing equipment often needs to operate continuously for a long time, while also facing multiple challenges such as exposure to high-temperature media, outdoor installation, and large structural spans.

Recently, the 15kW asphalt mixer customized by KEHENG for a Thai client was successfully manufactured and delivered. This once again validates our engineering experience and delivery capabilities in the asphalt mixing field.

Project operating conditions analysis

This project is implemented at a local asphalt mixing plant in Thailand, and the site conditions have the following characteristics:

• High asphalt medium temperature

• Large tank height and long mixing shaft

• The equipment is installed outdoors, requiring high levels of protection

• The overall project timeline is tight, making delivery time critical

The customer wants to ensure equipment stability while maximizing compatibility with the on-site operating conditions.

Customer's core needs

During the initial technical discussions, the customer put forward the following specific requirements:

✅Motor power: 15kW

✅The long shaft structure needs to effectively control operational deflection.

✅The equipment must be suitable for outdoor conditions and have reliable rain protection.

✅The delivery time is tight, and they hope to put it into use as soon as possible.

Customized mixing solution

Based on customer requirements, the Keheng engineering team provided a customized solution for this project:

✅Extra-long mixing shaft design (7m+)

For tall storage tanks, the shaft strength and rotational speed were carefully calculated to ensure long-term stable operation.

✅Bottom bearing support structure

Under extra-long shaft conditions, the bottom bearing support effectively reduces shaft deflection, improves overall operational stability, and extends equipment lifespan.

✅Extra-large rain cover design

Considering the local climate conditions in Thailand, an oversized rain cover was configured to provide more reliable protection for the motor and transmission components, making it suitable for outdoor installation.

Every configuration is designed around the principle of "long-term reliable operation."

Project execution and delivery

After the design was confirmed, KEHENG quickly advanced the production and quality inspection processes.
