Strengthening Partnerships in Russia: Our Team’s Visit During NEFTEGAZ 2026

This year, a team from JIANGSU KEHENG PETROCHEMICAL & ELECTRICAL MACHINERY CO., LTD traveled to Moscow during the NEFTEGAZ 2026 exhibition period.

Although we were not exhibiting at the show, visiting the exhibition and engaging with industry partners proved to be an extremely valuable experience. For manufacturers of industrial mixing equipment, direct communication with customers and partners remains the most effective way to understand real market needs and technical expectations.

Held at the Crocus Expo, the exhibition brought together leading companies from the oil & gas and chemical industries to showcase equipment and discuss new projects.

Engaging with Industry Leaders: Over 30 Strategic Meetings

During the exhibition days, our team of three—including both sales and technical specialists—visited more than 30 companies.

These companies operate across various sectors, including:

· Oil and gas equipment manufacturing

· Chemical processing equipment

· EPC engineering projects

· Industrial equipment integration

For us, these visits were not only an opportunity to introduce our mixers, but also a chance to learn directly from the market.

Key Learnings: Adapting to Russian Market Requirements

One of the most valuable outcomes of this trip was gaining a clearer, first-hand understanding of the requirements for entering the Russian industrial equipment market.

Through detailed discussions with local companies, we learned more about critical topics such as:

· EAC (TR CU) certification requirements

· Explosion-proof certification standards

· Material specifications and GOST standards (noting that steel naming systems in Russia differ from those in China, requiring extra clarification during technical communication)

· Increasing expectations for localized supply

· The importance of providing technical documentation in Russian

Strengthening Relationships: Meeting an Existing Customer from Saint Petersburg

During the visit, we also had the opportunity to meet face-to-face with an existing customer from Saint Petersburg. The company, a pump manufacturer, previously purchased Top Entry Mixers from us.

Meeting customers in person is always valuable. During our meeting, we discussed:

· New project opportunities

· Possibilities for long-term cooperation

· Feedback on the equipment already delivered

These conversations are essential for building long-term partnerships and ensuring our equipment continues to meet—and exceed—customer expectations.

Exploring New Partnerships After the Exhibition

Following the exhibition, our team continued visiting companies in the Moscow area. We met with two companies with whom we had previously communicated but had not yet collaborated.

The goal was simple: to better understand each other's capabilities and needs. Through direct conversations, both sides were able to discuss technical capabilities, project needs, and potential cooperation in future projects.

Although our visit to Russia during NEFTEGAZ 2026 was relatively short, it was extremely productive.
