How to choose the sealing assembly of the agitator?


It is the key to prevent the leakage of toxic and flammable media when selecting the proper sealing assembly for the agitator to solve the run, run, drip and leak of chemical equipment.


The mechanical seal refers to two annular sealing elements which, on the flat end faces of the smooth surface, are placed against the medium pressure or the spring force to rotate relative to each other to form a sealing structure. When the shaft rotates, the spring seat, the spring, the spring pressure plate, the moving ring and the like are driven to rotate all the way. Because of the spring force, the moving ring is pressed tightly on the stationary ring. When the shaft rotates, the moving ring and the shaft rotate all the way, and the static ring is fixed on the frame to be stationary, and the annular sealing end surface of the moving ring and the static ring prevents the leakage of the medium. Therefore, from the structural point of view, the mechanical seal is important to change the axial seal that is more easily leaked to the end seal that is not easy to leak.


The seal is divided into: packing seal, mechanical seal and helium seal. When selecting the seal for the agitation assembly, the sealing condition should be selected according to the temperature, pressure and the corrosiveness and pH of the stirring medium.
