How do I operate the top entry mixers before turning it on?

The top entry mixers is widely used, but many customers do not know much about the operation of thetop entry mixers. The following is a brief introduction to the operation of the top entry mixers.

Top entry mixers start-up operation

First, check before starting.

1. Check that all fasteners are securely connected and that the machine (including the motor) must be well grounded.

2. The entire agitator, including the motor casing, must be kept clean.

3. The depth of the liquid above the impeller surface of the agitator should not be less than one times the diameter (or thickness).

4. Check the motor and its wiring to make it start condition.

5. Check if the oil level of the reducer is on the oil mirror line and if there is a special oil cap.

6. The motor measures the insulation value and records. If the new motor is inspected, the quality inspection party should participate in it, and the relevant record form should be filled out. See the “Guide for Motor Trial Operation”. The insulation resistance is measured using a megohmmeter. 500V megger for motors with rated voltages from 36V to 500V. The insulation resistance should be greater than 0.5 megohms.

7. Move the stirrer by hand to check whether the rotation is flexible. (It can be rotated at the motor fan blade to make the stirring blade move for one week, and the motor fan blade should not be damaged.).

8. Jog the agitator and check the direction of rotation of the agitator so that it conforms to the direction of rotation required by the drawing (the blade is subjected to the liquid reaction force to the motor side). If the direction of rotation does not match, the motor wiring should be changed to correct it.

Second, the operation

1. After the operation direction is correct, inject approximately 70% of the tank volume into the stirred tank for no-load test operation.

2. Pay attention to the following questions after starting.

(1) The sound and heat of the reducer require that the temperature rise of the lubricating oil in the reducer is not more than 45 °C, that is, the oil temperature in the oil pool is not more than 85 °C.

(2) Whether there is leakage oil in each interface part of the reducer.

(3) Whether the temperature of the supporting bearing is too high, whether there is abnormal noise, and whether there is oil leakage. If the motor temperature is too high, the temperature rise should not exceed 75 °C.

(4) After 2 hours of no-load test run, the material can be properly added for load test operation, and the load operation is generally not less than 4 hours.

Third, note:

1. Do not start the stirrer when the impeller is buried in the solid or there is excess solid in the tank, otherwise it will cause damage.

2. Do not start the agitator when there is no water in the tank, otherwise it may cause damage.

3. The agitator has been installed, but the start-up has been delayed or there is a long idle time between cycles.
