High-torque agitation engineered to keep abrasive, fast-settling and high-solids slurries in perfect suspension — 24/7, in the most demanding process environments.
Thick, abrasive, fast-settling, highly corrosive slurries punish ordinary mixers. Our Industrial Slurry Agitator for Heavy-Duty Mixing Applications is engineered to keep solids suspended, accelerate chemical reactions and maintain uniform consistency where standard agitation simply fails.
This is not a standard mixer adapted for slurry service. It is a purpose-built industrial slurry agitator designed around three principles: high torque, rugged construction and long service life.
The unit combines a heavy-duty gear reducer, an oversized shaft and optimised impeller geometry to handle high-density, high-solids fluids. Depending on your process it can be configured as a top-entry agitator, a side-entry slurry mixer or a bottom-entry mixing unit — matched precisely to your tank, your fluid and your production targets.
Hardened-helical gear reducers, heavy bearing housings and rigid couplings deliver generous torque headroom — so the agitator starts smoothly even after solids have settled, and keeps running through viscosity spikes without tripping the motor.
Choose 304/316L stainless steel, duplex steel, rubber, polyurethane or ceramic-lined construction. For extreme abrasion we specify high-chrome alloy or composite wear structures to dramatically extend replacement intervals.
CFD-validated impeller diameter, blade angle and mounting depth create combined axial circulation and radial shear. Light floating solids are drawn down; settled solids are re-suspended; dead zones and wall build-up are eliminated.
Mechanical seals, packing seals or dry gas seals are selected to suit your medium. For hazardous atmospheres we supply explosion-proof motors and control cabinets rated to ExdIIBT4 or the standard required by your site.
PLC control, VFD, remote monitoring and overload protection are available as options. The system adjusts speed automatically to slurry density, tank level and process stage — avoiding "oversized-motor" waste while holding mixing quality steady.
Top, side or bottom entry; circular, square, underground or reactor vessels. Shaft length, number of impeller stages, materials, surface treatment and flange standards are all configured to your project — no compromise adapters required.
